At HUMANTIUS, ethics is the umbrella term for everything concerning right and wrong. It is not a rigid system, but a living structure of different levels – each with its own function, its own weight, and its own claim.
HUMANTIUS CODEX → Morality
The Codex is the fundamental rulebook. Here, it is precisely defined what one may do and what one may not. It contains the inviolable boundaries that must not be crossed. The Codex is binding. Whoever violates it acts wrongly.
HUMANTIUS MANIFEST → Philosophy
The Manifest is the soul of the project. Here, we define what image of humanity we hold and what goal we pursue. It is not a rule, but a vision of seeing the world through a particular lens. The Manifest inspires; it does not obligate.
HUMANTIUS FACULTATIVE → Etiquette
The facultative area is an offer, not an obligation. Here, etiquette and manners are defined, but they are optional. This area cannot be applied equally to all cultures and countries. Whoever follows it enriches the community. Whoever does not does not violate ethics. It is a “may,” not a “must.”
HUMANTIUS RHETTRIC → Dictionary
The RHETTRIC is a sanctuary for language. Because words lose their meaning over the years or get redefined, this area was founded to define certain terms exactly as they are meant for HUMANTIUS – so that (even in 10 years) it is clear what is meant by them. The RHETTRIC secures the clarity of communication over time.
RHETTRIC (Neologism)
RHET – From Greek ῥῆμα (rhēma) “the word”
TRIC – From Latin strictura “the tightening”
