Symbol

The logo is designed with sharp edges because the movement primarily communicates digitally.
It looks like an “H” or like “i i = i i” or “ii=ii”.
The “i” represent a person – head and body.
The “=” symbol is the mathematical equals sign.

Thus, the logo conveys:
People equal people
Person = Person
All people are equal (in terms of rights and without discrimination).

Psychology

Of course, we all know that such movements either have little impact or only show results after many years.

Many people start movements to gain a sense of control and self-determination, mostly because they believe that merely criticizing is not enough.

This can be called the illusion of self-determination or the illusion of having influence.

The brain does not want to admit powerlessness, so it tells itself, “I did something about it. See, I am valuable and not useless.”

You can think of it as a game. If the game is broken or ends, people either change the game, play later, or stop altogether.

So see it as an experience and a way to find like-minded people.

Naturally, when your name is on a list or societal changes happen, it is no longer a game but reality.
